Second Early Bird update

Second International Early-Bird Presale Expected in Mid-September

Exact Date to Be Announced on Discord

Preparations are underway for the second international early-bird global presale. The exact opening date will be announced in advance on Discord.

The second batch will use production international packaging and include a printed quick-start guide with a QR code linking to the complete Chinese and English documentation.

Customs declaration materials for the United States, Japan, and South Korea have been completed, while shipping and customs-clearance procedures for other countries and regions are still being validated.

Second-batch international early-bird pricing will be lower than that of later regular international batches. International shipping will be calculated and charged at checkout, and the product includes one year of international after-sales support.

Once the presale opens, please review the product details and batch information before placing an order.

The second international early-bird presale is expected to open in mid-September; the exact date will be announced on Discord.

    Batch notice

    First international early-bird batch notice

Please read this notice before ordering. The current batch is Paper_Tracker's first early-bird batch opened to international buyers, offered at a lower price than the later full international batch.

This batch is not the same as a complete retail batch: shipping, import duties, VAT/GST, local taxes, and customs clearance fees are separate; packaging, certification marks, and some included materials are mainly based on the Chinese mainland version; English manuals and international support materials are still being added. Later batches may upgrade hardware or accessories. If you want a lower-friction regular retail experience, we do not recommend buying the current early-bird batch.

    Prescription lenses built for Eye_Tracker

    Co-developed with professional opticians

These are not generic lens inserts. They are shaped around where Eye_Tracker's cameras sit inside the headset.

The goal is simple: correct your vision while keeping eye tracking reliable and your view clear.

A better fit for VR users who need prescription support without giving up stable eye tracking.

    Lens compatibility note

During development, we found that standard VR prescription inserts cannot clear the eye-tracking camera position. Using them would force a compromise in camera placement and viewing angle, reducing recognition accuracy and tracking range.

Eye_Tracker prescription lenses use a customized edge shape matched to the camera view and imaging needs, so the camera can stay in a better position while the lenses remain comfortable.

Existing VR prescription inserts and third-party lenses are physically incompatible with Eye_Tracker and cannot be installed. This is a structure and lens-shape issue, not software. If you need vision correction, use Eye_Tracker lenses from this store or contact lenses. Standard framed glasses are also not recommended.

Use the headset's own Wi-Fi path

Paper_Tracker sends tracking data through the headset's Wi-Fi connection instead of being locked to a separate 2.4 GHz receiver. It follows what your headset and router support: Wi-Fi 6 on headsets such as PICO 4, Wi-Fi 6E on Quest 3 / Quest 3S, and Wi-Fi 7 on PICO 4 Ultra where available.

That lets tracking data use the cleaner high-bandwidth Wi-Fi path already used by modern standalone VR, helping avoid the crowded 2.4 GHz ecosystem shared by many body trackers and peripherals. Actual latency and stability still depend on headset model, router, band, distance, PC/network load, and local interference.

The Paper_Tracker App is available from the Meta Store and Pico Store.

Dual cameras for detailed eye movement data

Two eye-facing cameras with controlled IR illumination capture gaze origin and direction, pupil size, pupil position, and eye openness.

The IR illumination system has been evaluated by an independent laboratory under GB/T 20145-2006, aligned with IEC 62471:2006 / CIE S 009/E:2002, and classified as RG0, Exempt Group.

Unlike many DIY eye-tracking builds, Paper_Tracker uses a tested illumination design intended for long sessions near the eyes.

Model tuned for expressive VRChat tracking

Uses GPU acceleration to process face and eye tracking data

Outputs avatar expression data in real time

Typical CPU usage ≤3% under supported configurations

Tuned for smoother, more natural expression changes.

We keep improving the model and usually ship updates on a weekly cadence.

Lightweight hardware with a cleaner finish

Injection-molded parts are paired with industrial MJF components to keep the kit light, durable, and precise where alignment matters.

Shaped from scans of real headset shells

Structured-light and laser scans help the mounts follow the headset contour closely, with tool-free installation and stable alignment.

Power your headset without messy wiring

    PowerHub

The custom PowerHub supports up to 27W USB-C PD fast charging, helping keep the headset powered while keeping the tracking setup compact and tidy.

If you use a battery head strap such as the BOBOVR S3 Pro Super Strap, the extension cable is recommended for cleaner routing and better fit.

    Buy extension cable

More comfortable when resting on your side

    Custom right-angle USB-C cable

The right-angle cable reduces the bulge on the side of the headset, so it is less likely to press into your face when you lie down during VR rest or sleep sessions.

Handle cables and connectors carefully. Avoid excessive pressure, sharp bending, or pulling.

Add SteamVR trackers when your setup needs them

With the optional magnetic quick-release mounting base, it supports HTC Vive Tracker, Tundra Tracker, and other SteamVR-compatible trackers.

The magnetic quick-release base is an optional accessory and is sold separately.

    Notes & disclaimers

The Paper_Tracker eye-tracking module uses an 850 nm near-infrared LED array as a non-laser light source. Photobiological safety has been evaluated under GB/T 20145-2006, aligned with IEC 62471:2006 / CIE S 009:2002. Testing was conducted by a professional laboratory, and the infrared illumination system is classified as RG0, Exempt Group.

Paper_Tracker uses the Wi-Fi connection supported by the headset and router. Supported bands and standards vary by headset model, router, region, firmware, and local regulatory settings. For best stability, use a nearby router or access point; 5 GHz or 6 GHz and Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 are recommended when supported. Actual connection quality, tracking performance, latency, and stability can vary with PC hardware, router performance, network load, wireless interference, lighting environment, and software version.

Charging while playing requires a headset, charger, and cable that support USB-C PD. Power delivery supports up to 27W depending on the headset, charger, cable, and PD negotiation conditions.

Standard framed glasses may interfere with eye tracking. For best results, use contact lenses or the custom prescription lens solution designed for the Paper_Tracker Eye_Tracker module series.

Product appearance, included accessories, and compatibility may vary by model and package version. Product images are for illustration only. Infrared illumination is usually invisible or only faintly visible during normal operation.

Model performance, compatibility, and software features may continue to improve through future updates and testing. Update timing may vary with development progress, test results, and release planning.

Third-party accessories, modified parts, or unsupported configurations may affect fit, stability, charging, or tracking performance.

Model performance will continue to improve through testing and iteration. The data shown is based on a dataset snapshot from October 9, 2025, tested on an AMD Radeon RX 6800 + Ryzen 5 7500F platform. Actual performance may vary with future updates and system configurations.

HTC Vive Tracker, Tundra Tracker, and other SteamVR-compatible tracker support requires the optional magnetic quick-release mounting base. Trackers and the magnetic quick-release base are not included and are sold separately.
